Hook yourself into the conversation. No matter what your angle – undergrad, grad student, postgrad, postdoc, sessional, professor, administrator, alumna, emerita – we’d love to hear from you. Aimee, Erin and Heather post on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; Tuesdays and Thursdays are for guests. We use a light editorial hand, meaning: your ideas, your voice, your signature. But: our blog. So we won’t publish posts that are off topic or likely to get us sued. Click on the “Editorial Policy” tab for more.
To contribute a guest blog post, please send a word doc of about 500 words to editrixes (at) hookandeye (dot) ca. Please keep your doc as formatting-free as possible, but do indicate how and where you’d like to link out. A blog is not a peer-reviewed publication, so keep it real.
You can also use editrixes (at) hookandeye (dot) ca to check with us about about possible ideas, suggest topics you wish we’d blog about, or air your nervousness about public writing. If you have a response to a specific post, though, be a good feminist and put it in the comments section where everybody can appreciate it.
